Layers
  • Created a Map Dog on the Dog picture (Filter>Distort>Displace)
  • Matched the Dog head with the Tiger head (Dimension + Multiply)
  • Added layer mask on the Tiger head, Painted the whole layer in the layer mask colour, took the opposite colour to paint the Dog head
  • Repeated with the Dog ears and the Tiger skin
  • Repeated with the Dog body and the Tiger skin
  • Duplicated all 4 layers - hid the originals - then merged the copies (merge visible)
  • Selected the Doger - selection tool then mask it
  • Added a new background layer under the Doger layer - ctrl-click new layer button
  • Inserted or copied pasted in the new background layer
  • Adjusted the Doger size as necessary
  • Dodged and added colour balances to match the Doger and the Shooting Star
  • Added watermark
